American role model for patriotism and honor, John Wayne was the very first
celebrity I chose to draw. The resulting composite below shows 'Duke'
surrounded by a few of the many characters he played throughout his
wonderful career. Since that time, I'm very pleased to have been included on
the short list of artists approved by Wayne Enterprises to offer portraits of
John Wayne. The fun I had creating 'Man of Honor' led me to draw many
